Biography

Stevenson Cyril Porier was born in Holland on the 11th of January 1983. He started discovering music at a young age.
At age 13, he played in a band called G.L.B (1996) . In 1998, G.L.B recorded an album in Sarasota, Florida. Steven composed three songs on the album. The song “Celestial”, written by Steven, was released as the first single. The single was a success and went number one on the radio charts where it stayed for more than 6 weeks!
In 2000, Steven wanted more and moved to the Netherlands. He worked there with several producers, who helped him develop as a singer/songwriter.
In 2003, he starred in a small musical production. That same year he was offered a chance to attend the Music Academy in Rotterdam.
In 2004, his vocal teacher Steez was in the work of creating a vocal group called D-zine and Steven decided to join the group together with Jay-kay and Eye jay.
In Germany, D-zine did a lot of opening acts for Montell Jordan, Druh Hill and Ebony. After a year the group decided to go their separate ways after which Steven took the time to develop himself as a solo artist.
Steven Cyril also did a few side projects with the international known group Ghetto Flow, which made a catchy summer hit called “Yo te Quiero Hacer”. The song caught national attention and kick started their album.
At the moment Steven is recording his debut album “Under Construction”. His single and music video “Taking the Fall” are soon to be released.
